ACEG Transmission Time Webinar: The PACE Of Trust: A Framework By Community Voices for Advancing Transmission

Americans for a Clean Energy Grid (ACEG), in partnership with DNV, released a new report earlier this year, “The PACE of Trust: A Framework by Community Voices for Advancing Transmission.” The report seeks to enable the timely expansion and upgrading of the U.S. electric grid through a focus on building trust and working collaboratively across a broad spectrum of community interests.
To identify best practices for community engagement when developing transmission lines, ACEG and DNV convened a Roundtable representing a wide range of community interests who identified four core areas of importance for community engagement: Participation and engagement of communities; Accountability and good governance; Communication, transparency, and trust; and Economic and non-economic benefits.
This panel will feature members of the Roundtable who will discuss the importance of effective community engagement in transmission development and offer several actionable recommendations for implementation.
